What games are you playing currently?

It kind of baffles me that games like that get made. How much money did that cost? Did the makers really think they had a good product? Did they play it themselves and actually have a good time?

BTW, Red Dead Redemption is now available for XBONE backwards compatibility.

I don't want to go back, my one playthrough gave me all I needed from that game, but I know quite a few people fucking adore that game.

I've played RDR twice, and it's still one of my favorite games of all time. Great story, characters, and atmosphere with some decent history thrown in. What was it that didn't do it for you?

As for Watchdogs, that game definitely didn't grip me in any way. I finished it, but I would never go back and play it again nor care too much about a sequel. That game is the very definition of bland and vanilla.

Two weeks after its release, I have completed Lego Marvel Avengers to 100% and unlocked all 40 achievements.

Took two years & my nephew's help to get 100% on the first Lego Marvel Super Heroes game...

^ Marvel Super Heroes was actually my first LEGO Platinum (and 100%). While it was fairly easy, it did take some time.
I'll get Avengers once the price drops.

Oh, it was perfectly enjoyable, more than enjoyable, but I think the core gameplay didn't click with me on the same level it apparently did with a lot of people.

Everything else about it was perfectly crafted, there just wasn't anything about it that would have motivated to play more of it after I was done with the story.

Just Cause 3, not playing it the way the people behind it want me to play it...
I've been liberating all areas before continuing with the story missions, makes them a lot easier to do...

I never was Halo's biggest fan, I have enjoyed (to a greater or lesser extent) all of the games, but I share your indifference.

Just started the Metro 2033 series. Read the book, and Ive been wanting to play the games, finally got them on sale.

I'm playing Borderlands on Xbox 360. Why the hell didn't I hear about these games before? The dark and gag humor is great and the bazillions of guns are just fun. There's something satisfying about shooting a Mutant Midget Psycho with a lightning bullet and watching his head explode from electrocution. Also, you gotta love the sound effects when you run something over.

If you haven't already, find someone to play the BL games in co-op. It's a blast, both locally and online.

I'm playing Final Fantasy X (part of the FF X/X-2 HD remastered edition on PS3). The gameplay is fine, although the story isn't great so far. Tidus is just as big a tool as one of my favorite internet reviewers had lead me to believe. But I'm glad I came in expecting it, it would be a lot worse expecting some good characters and finding Tidus & friends. To be fair, they're still better then the FFXIII cast :shifty: I actually beat X-2 a few years ago, so I'm playing the games a bit backwards. Still, it seems like X will be fun to actually play, but with a lame story. X-2 was exactly the same, although it was a bit better from a story perspective because they didn't have Tidus.

Firewatch (PS4) - very strong start

Edit: Oh, and I completed the character creation in Pillars of Eternity - roughly 3 months after buying it.

I won a free game from Microsoft! It popped up in my Xbox One feed. It's called Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, and so far it's a lot of fun! It's a puzzle game, which is great because I love puzzle games. Regardless, I ain't gonna complain about a free game! :D

Pokémon Shuffle and Pokémon White. Been working on the latter to try to get a team ready together for a Pokémon battling competition.
