This has been driving me crazy for a while.
There was an episode ( Next Gen? ) where they come upon a man that at some point in the episode says that destroyed an entire civilization by just thinking it. I think they had just killed his wife and in a fit of revenge kills them all.
I think they leave him alone in the end...?
I can see the actors face but I do not remember his name or the episode.
