What Enterprise is better design? (final)

I started 2 polls about What Enterprise was better design. First poll was TOS Enterprise vs Refit and second poll was Galaxy class vs Sovereign class.
Results were that Refit and Galaxy won their round. So for final we are having Refit vs Galaxy class.

I voted for the Refit. I was never totally crazy about the swan-like Galaxy-class vessel, although it is a nice-looking ship. -- RR

I do like both ships. But I gave my vote to the refit. I absolutely love the TOS movie era designs. Part of me wants to watch the TOS movies just to see the ships - whether it's the 1701 refit, the Excelsior or the Reliant. I love the look of them.

I've always loved the refit. Beautiful. I like the Galaxy, but thought it was a bit too top-heavy.

No contest: the Refit Connie. The Galaxy-Class design is probably the worst ship design in Star Trek. The saucer looks like someone melted it.. the lines are way too "soft" and the whole ship is top-heavy. From certain angles the ship looks absolutely laughable.

This was pretty much a tie for me, but having grown up during the TNG era I gave the nod to the Galaxy.

The Enterprise-D looks better. I really like the refit version of the Big E, but I *LOVE* the first version (TOS). So, since that isn't on this poll I go with the goodl ol' E-D.

Which one? The Refit Connie first appeared in the first Star Trek movie. The Galaxy-Class first appeared in the first episode of Next Generation.

The Reliant being my favorite starship of all time, I would have to give my vote to the refit. However, If we're talking interiors, I'd have to go with the big blue flying picnic table every time.

Galaxy, I love the refit, of course, but I have a lot of nostalgia for the Enterprise D, just seeing clips of her cruising through space gives me a good feeling. We had a lot more screen time of her than we did the refit.

Seeing people's responses I wonder how many of those who voted for the Galaxy-Class became Trek fans via Next Generation? Because polls like this remind me of the "Who is your favorite Doctor" question that comes up among Dr Who fans. In that case most people's favorite Doctor is generally whoever was the Doctor when they started watching. It makes sense that people's favorite Enterprise is the one that was the current version when they became a fan. Just a thought.
