CORGI ENTERPRISE REFIT SPECS?

MANOLO

Ensign
Newbie
Question: Does anyone have the Enterprise REFIT recently released by Corgi? I saw reviews on the tube and while some details are missing and the vents on the pylons definitely horrible, overall proportions seem OKish? I am super curious about SCALE, though: the TOS Connie from Corgi from 20 years back was super close to 1/1400 (while lacking some of the overall shapes it looked really close in proportions to the starcraft TOS Connie...from just looking at it, this time CORGI may have gotten the better proportions on the lady...compared to the old Starcraft 1/1400 kit... Long story short, anyone care to measure for the community, overall length, Saucer diameter, secondary and nacelle lengths and "girths" and what not? Much appreciated!!

I think the Corgi is a bit closer to the Kimble blueprints.

The bigger TOMY offering seems to have an even more elegant secondary hull teardrop--but I'm just eyeballing it.

That might be a good project for anyone with a scanner and both examples... maybe the 1/537-ish repop and Polar Lights 1/350, the Art Asylum, etc.

TOMY's replica has the nacelles more in keeping with the filming model, whose lines are a tad different...as explored here:

I was thinking about this and your 1/537 thread.

A nice lady here managed to get lumafield to scan those awful vape gizmos she wanted to re-purpose:

There has been some movement on the 1/537 due to the guy here:

He is well thought of at the RPF.

A lot of folks don't have the time or money to so the level of work Shaw put into the TOS, but Lumafield scanning toys and models pro bono could perhaps get them some contracts.
