What Do You Want Your Kids To Do When They Grow Up?

Dayton3

I of course will be happy and supportive of whatever my daughter does when she grows up (assuming it is a legal occupation). Even her wanting to be a horse trainer or something like that.

But if I had a choice, my daughter would attend the Air Force Academy and become a fighter pilot. Or failing that a bomber pilot. Or failing that a tanker or transport pilot. Or perhaps on an ICBM crew. One of my cousins worked on Peacekeeper ICBMs before moving on to cruise missiles.

That would be my dream anyway.

Wow...

Whatever my daughter wants to do is fine with me, provided she finishes school first.

I want them to not exist, because I'll never have had them. So if they are anything else there will have been trickery afoot.

Realistically? Happy in their life. What I want shouldn't matter into it. The most I should do is give them the tools to be able to weather whatever life throws at 'em and grow up to be self sufficient, independent adults.

If you drill it into your kids from an early age you can mould them to become whatever you want. If you bring them up to believe they want to enter politics and become president and you support them through it then THAT is what they'll want to become and be happy about it.

You might aswell lead your kids into a good job and good career rather than just leave them to it and let them choose themselves later in life. Otherwise they'll get to the age of 18 and just choose any old shit career.

Ezri's been dancing and singing from an obscenely young age. I wouldn't be surprised if she got into music... but then she's only two so who knows. She's shown early signs of being quite intelligent, I'd hope she didn't waste that like I did.

Though... the day after she was born my trainer phoned me and we joked about her growing up to enter our Womens division. But I'd hate m offspring to get involved with wrestling.
