Personally, I think that with the 2010 just around the corner its time to deal with the Acshen. In the original 2010 timeline it was the Acshen that eliminated the Goa'uld. However, Earth managed to do so without them. Thus no other worlds are going to need the Acshen's "help." That cannot have made them happy (nor would gating to a black hole). They are really the last enemy that SG1 has left.
Bring everyone back and tell a riveting tale which will help me kill an evening.
The Stargate program going public could be an interesting idea for an SG-1 movie, especially if they could tie it into the plot of the next spinoff.
Perhaps they could bring O'Neill & Carter together subtly without too much fanfare like they did with Mulder & Scully in The X-Files: I Want to Believe.
