What do you think Q almost said to Picard in AGT?

JesterFace

Fleet Captain
Commodore
Near the end of 'All Good Things...' after the trial, Picard asks Q ”what is it that you're trying to tell me?” Q leans over and almost says something to Picard's ear but instead he says ”you'll figure it out”.

What do you think Q was about to say? Is it something obvious that I've missed all he times I've watched 'All Good Things...' or something that the audience can try to figure out themselves?

What do you think he was about the say to Picard?

^"Although you may hear some rumours of me making moves toward Janeway, please understand that I'm only doing it in service to the Continuum.... it's not personal" :D

"If you go to Z'ha'dum you will die."

"No, but you be careful because your song is ending sir. It is returning. It is returning through the dark, and then Mon Capitaine...oh but then... he will knock four times."

"When the red star bleeds and the darkness gathers, Azor Ahai shall be born again amidst smoke and salt."

"Save the Cheerleader, save the World"

In all seriousness, I wouldn't put it past Q to just be pulling Picard's chain. The whole trial set up in "Encounter at Farpoint" set-up Picard (representing humanity) and his curiosity about the universe. Q could have just been playing on that, giving Picard another mystery to solve, of which, only Q knows there is no real mystery at all.

I like this explanation.
Somehow it would be Qish or Qlike to tease Picard like that... perhaps he was not going to say anything at all. Just acted like he was about to.

I think it was meant to be something real but very personal, something like that Picard should get together with Crusher or with someone he hasn't yet met or that Starfleet actually isn't as great as he thinks it is (but there's a better way to excel as a human) or, the most concrete and related to what did later happen, only he can defeat the Borg (or someone else will).
