Somebody needs more faith of the heart.

 

Picard, sadly, won't have any faith of the heart to speak of. Never pays to get into a knife fight. So I guess the crew of the La Sirena will have to have it for him.

I’m sure Discovery’s uniform will change this season. I can’t see Burnham spending over a year (or whatever) waiting for Discovery to come through the wormhole wearing only the uniform she had on under her Red Angel suit.
I personally like them. They aren’t that dissimilar to ENT uniform.
I’d like to see Picard in a yellow jumper like Pikes “new” uniform

 

Clothes Michael wears doesn't make it a uniform! The rest of the crew will still be in their threads from the 23rd century.

 

I don't disagree -- which is why the last paragraph of my post says pretty much exactly that!

 

From the way they look in the promos - and with how well they're fitted (read: not very well at all) - I feel like I'm watching a Star Trek fan film. (YMMV).

clearer look at the 2399 admirals' uniform:

still think this is a much more interesting look than the standard duty uniforms we saw in the pilot.

 

She likes her 'executive toys'. They should have put a few Eaglemoss ships on her desk.

 

The side panels recall the Discovery uniforms. I'm impressed they resisted putting a bunch of tiny Starfleet deltas there.

 

We saw worse in TNG. Some Admiral's uniforms in the late '80s were horrendous.

 

Maybe they're as gray and sad as Starfleet's become recently.

 

Nah, they don't look like the FC uniforms.
