I like the beats and shouting.
LOL...they've become quite predictable, those naysayers.Someone negative about the show will highjack this thread with the word 'nothing' in 3...2...1....![]()
I love the production values, the ship designs (interior & exterior), the Klingons and the drama and tension between the crew. That makes for good story telling character development.
I'm really loving this show!!!
- Realistic human behavior. Last night, when Tilly said "That's fucking cool!" I thought I was hearing things, but when Stamets agreed, "Yes, that is fucking cool," I smiled. It's refreshing to have Starfleet characters acting like real people having real reactions instead of cardboard cutouts reacting blank-faced to happenings going on. I also love we have characters that aren't the best and the brightest of Starfleet all somehow serving on the same ships.
- Jason Isaacs as Captain Gabriel Lorca. Again, it's refreshing having an actual human with faults and emotions in command of a Federation ship
- The spore drive/tardigrade. We are given a reason to care that the propulsion system is in danger of collapse instead of hearing how the dilithium is running low
