I LOVE pizza and being surrounded by it would be epic, but I don't think the hospitality and catering industry is for me (having dabbled with it a few years back).

Unfortunately, I'm currently engaging in my annual pizza fast - which is just as bad as it sounds because I stop eating pizza and don't go near it for months at a time every year in an effort not to pile on weight - seriously, I can and have eaten pizza for weeks at a time.

Have you ever encountered job opportunities of a "adult" nature in your specific field. For some reason I can imagine the behind the scenes stuff (eg, designing computer graphic engines for websites, editing video, etc) in the adult industry as being incredibly lucrative.

Interesting. We have a fellow member, Bear Discovers Fire, who used to do work editing pictures of an "adult" nature. I thought that must've been a cool job, but she said she didn't care for it much.

Hubby is a pharmacist, graduated 2000. Pay rose around 2003-2004 to over $130K/yr. Now there’s too many pharmacy schools and the Boards are easy (99% pass rate), so it’s likely pay will decrease for new pharmacists in the near future.

People will ALWAYS need plumbers, plumbing can’t be outsourced anywhere, and you can control your hours. Sure, there can be unlicensed plumbers as competition, but most people would prefer someone licensed. Who needs a flood--or a toilet that doesn’t flush?
