    About the future:

    1) DSC will be about Michael and the crew in the future.
    2) That future will be 950 from "now" (in a manner of speaking)
    3) There will be a Pike spin-off
    4) There will be a section 31 spin-off
    5) There will be a Picard show

    What do you know?

    1) She's still the only one who can wear the suit, and there's her spending time with her mother so probably.

    2) 930, in 3187, further forward than any point in Trek (confirmed recently in an interview)

    3) No idea as yet, Anson is off enjoying his life with no filming work right now and doesn't know either

    4) Yes, starting after season 3 of Discovery as confirmed this week

    5) Just started filming in the last couple of days, airing this winter, 3 seasons planned but 1 shooting with 10 episodes

The only thing we know for certain is that there’s going to be a third season of DSC, and that production has started on the Picard show. That’s it.

Uh, no, there have been two or three interviews in the last two weeks confirming a lot more than that.

Until production actually starts on something, we don’t know for certain if it’s happening. Remember the Khan show?

Paramount has confirmed 6 shows, Picard just started filming, Michelle Yeoh has confirmed she's going to be in DSC season 3 and contracted to work on Section 31 right after.

Kurtzman confirmed the 33rd century in the last week for DSC season 3.

We know it's always wise to bring a cleave ship to a phaser fight.

That doesn’t change my point. CBS (not Paramount) can confirm stuff all they want. Until it actually starts happening, NOTHING is definite.

The OP asked what we know for sure, and I told him.

We can make educated guesses that Discovery will continue in the same manic, Michael Bay type fashion with dialogue written as if for an episode of Supergirl or The Flash and the Picard show will likely be incredibly divisive and about "subverting expectations" like The Last Jedi with Picard like Luke Skywalker being an unrecognisable shadow of his former self and acting completely out of character.

I pointed out interviews, I didn't know that was agressive, shouldn't have folded the paper into little knives I guess.

Only while cloaked. Sheathed? or is it both if your ship is a knife...

The Picard show will be similar theme to Logan and the goal is to "Win awards for writing". I got that from one of my sources working with the writers.

No one really knows whats happening with Burnham and Co as of yet
Because the writers probably don't know either
Picard's series will be all pontificating, preachful, nauseatingly politically correct, just like TNG, plus Picard wont be drop kicking anyone anytime soon at 80, when he never done it at 50.
Pike has to be the jewel in the crown for modern Trek stories, it has to be made.
