Steamed Fresh Cauliflower in a garlic butter sauce.

Went old school with some country fried chicken last night - this is one of two batches of thighs and drumsticks..

Battered with flour, paprika, red cayenne pepper, garlic salt, and poultry seasoning. Deep fried in canola oil until crispy brown and then baked the rest of the way.

I had Faux Swedish Meatballs...

This is gonna take some explaining. I had left over turkey meatballs from the night befores Pasta dinner. While they were made in the italian style, I didn't add them to the sauce because I made to many. So for dinner tonight I decided to use the left over meatballs, some leftover mashed potatoes and steam some vegetables. When I went to make the gravy for the Swedish Meatballs, I had no heavy cream. So I just made a brown gravy. So in reality I had:

Turkey Meatballs with Brown Gravy
Mashed Potatoes
Steamed Carrots & Broccoli

So I called that my Faux Swedish Meatball dinner.

Pulled Pork Sandwiches, homemade potato salad, and beer. Double Chocolate Fudge Mocha Cake for desert. Was at my parents place for my brother's birthday party. Good times.

I went to my friends John and Mary's last night for dinner. Mary is campaigning to be cast as Elizabeth Dehner in the Star Trek sequel (visit MakeMeDehner.com for more info) and so they hosted a 45th anniversary screening of "Where No Man Has Gone Before" last night.

For dinner, we had gourmet pizza and "Nectar of the Gods", formerly known as the "Freezer Unit" in honor of Sally Kellerman, consisting of 1.5 oz Jim Beam bourbon, 2 oz Orange-peach-mango juice, .5 oz lemon juice, lemon-lime soda, ice, and a slice of mango. Yum!

Fish and chips.

I'm tellin' you...if you never had fish and chips, then you'd never had fish and chips. It's like the best fish and chips I'd ever had. I still couldn't find a decent place in the States that sell fish and chips.
