What Did You Have For Dinner Last Night?

Stopped by Wagamama and chose the chicken raisukaree - tender marinated chicken breast stir-fried in a coconut and lime curry sauce with mangetout, peppers, red and spring onions, fresh ginger and garlic. Served with steamed white rice and garnished with mixed sesame seeds, red chillies, coriander and lime. Pretty good for a cold evening.

(Not my image)

Something about that image is really rubbing me the wrong way, and it's probably the ice cream scoop of rice. Looks like the glop of mashed potatoes you'll get at Perkins or IHOP.

Prolly the summers last bbq. Pork cutletts, sausages.. corn. A bit of halloumicheese and salads.
Finished it off with my home-baked cake/pie (half apple and half berries) with vanilla custard.

I arranged Medieval dinner las night and the menu was:

cranberries
lingonberries
olives
pickled cucumbers
pastries
smoked salmon
lentil stew
honeyroasted root vegetables
meat stew of rich man from Rewal

Sparkling wine
Red wine
Beer
Dry Apple cider
