What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

In DISCO they are. PIC, SNW, LD and even PRO look pretty good for the most part.
The only ones that I look at and think are decent are the main SNW uniforms. They just remind me of TOS.
Umm…no. Not even remotely. Unless, of course, you mistakenly typed “best” when you meant to type the unquestionably correct “worst”. Then I wholeheartedly concur.
the original 31st century grey (not GRAY.TAL . the color gray) uniforms were somehow weird and dull at the same time. The costume designer had a love of asymmetrical designs and half collars that burned with the power of 1000 supernovas.
DSC had this odd obsession with asymmetrical uniforms. They even jacked up the TOS uniforms with that wonky collar thing when Pike & Co. came around. Just unnecessarily fussy, IMO. Carrying it on into the 32nd century made zero sense, but there it is. Damn things look like everyone skipped a button putting them on.

I honestly don't even know why they bothered designing costumes or sets for Picard season 3. They could have just been wearing street clothes on an all black set and no one would ever have been able to see the difference.

Between those and the Enterprise-E, it was like the designers had a running bet on just how drab they could go.

Kirk was the only one in TOS to wear the wraparound shirt. Perhaps it's the captain's prerogative to vary his uniform.
I like the TNG Movie and DS9 Seasons 5-7 uniforms. But then I have taste.
