Other Trek’s have definitely had their questionable attire.

In DISCO they are. PIC, SNW, LD and even PRO look pretty good for the most part.Ugly uniforms do seem to be a calling card of CBS Trek.

Umm…no. Not even remotely. Unless, of course, you mistakenly typed “best” when you meant to type the unquestionably correct “worst”. Then I wholeheartedly concur. The monster maroons from TWOK are the best looking thing Trek has ever done and the only ones that look even remotely believable as uniforms (albeit dress uniforms).
Like they dressed in the dark? Would make more sense in PICARD S3.DSC had this odd obsession with asymmetrical uniforms. They even jacked up the TOS uniforms with that wonky collar thing when Pike & Co. came around. Just unnecessarily fussy, IMO. Carrying it on into the 32nd century made zero sense, but there it is. Damn things look like everyone skipped a button putting them on.

Pajama party!
Between those and the Enterprise-E, it was like the designers had a running bet on just how drab they could go.
I like the TNG Movie and DS9 Seasons 5-7 uniforms. But then I have taste.
