What are you watching?

I'm nearly finished with season one of "Dexter", thanks to Netflix and it's online streaming feature. I'm really impressed with the show and I look forward to season two.

Dexter isn't good; it's AWESOME! :techman:

Season 2 is even better than season 1. You won't believe how good.

Avoid spoilers at all costs. Trust me.

Just finished watching Wedding Crashers for the first time. Frickin' hilarious. I miss movies like these where the comedy is situational and relies on the dialogue and performances, and doesn't have to resort to gross-out gags for cheap laughs.

Watched Burn Notice last night.

Finally got The A-Team on DVD (yes, I know)...so I will probably check out some of that tonight.

Me, too. Warehouse 13 is definitely somewhere between Eureka and Sanctuary, which is all to the good in my book. :bolian:

I watched more X-Files today; "Sein und Zeit", "Closure", "En Ami" and "Chimera." I got a little carried away. That said, this summer X-Files watching is pretty much the only time I've been turning my TV on otherwise than the weekly Burn Notice episode. I don't channel surf ever.

To honor of the passing of the great Mollie Sugden, I am watching "Are You Being Served" on DVD. I own the entire series sets so I just started at the beginning and I am working my way through. Brilliant!

Torchwood: Children of Earth.

I cannot understate how good this 5 part miniseries is.

I'm comparing to Dexter and Jekyll.

And as I said in the Who subforum, I can't think of a better SF series I've seen for mature, adult SF. Yep, I went there. Someone said Lost, I said close but no cigar. Tense, deep, invasion/end of the world stuff.

There is no comparison to Torchwood series 1, or even much to season 2. It's a huge step up for a show that quickly became a joke when it started.

It's showing in America towards the end of the month. Don't miss it.

Awwww. I loved her! I would make a pussy joke but i would hate to offend. ;)

Chucked an old film in the dvd player - Anzio. After that, it may be Cockleshell Heroes:)

I guess I'm on a bit of a nostalgia trip.

Thanks to Torchwood: Children of Earth, I'm rewatching Doctor Who. Currently at season 2. Ah, The Face of Boe... :)

For the last fifteen minutes I've been watching the hind end of Platform 11 at Edinburgh Waverley, waiting for the train I am on to get moving again (it arrived early). :(

Just watched the last episode of Torchwood. As I said there in the Who forum, hands down, Best. SF TV. Ever. I'll debate anyone on that. Some there are comparing it to Edge of Darkness, if you've seen that.
