I'm assuming FOX bought a limited license where they couldn't use the actual X-Men, which left them with a weird hybrid version of the scraps and left overs to play with, but what if they had the same cast, and they were allowed to use the big names form the comic books?

some of the stuff on the gifted reminds of what the us of a is like now since 2016 but without the mutants part
