What are you watching???

I watched The Devil Wears Prada 2. It’s a good movie, but it was hard for me to watch. I’m not really into films that have no action or don’t focus heavily on character drama or comedy. I struggle with movies that are mainly about the business world, especially ones about saving big companies.

In the second film, they show how the characters introduced in the first movie deal with the dying world of magazines and journalism. These kinds of dramas make me uneasy. I’m also someone who feels awkward even watching romance movies with my family.

I don’t know if I’d watch this a second time. I’d rather watch some mediocre YA movies on Prime Video than watch this again.

Anyway, it’s a good film, but it’s not for me.

I’ve been watching Grey’s Anatomy since last summer. The last episode I watched was yesterday, Alex’s farewell episode in season 16. I’ve seen a lot of heartbreaking deaths. The worst one was Derek’s death.

But Alex not even going to say goodbye in person, leaving letters to everyone and then leaving, was cruel. Maybe it wasn’t a death, but it was the worst kind of departure.

on Tubi
watching the rest of Broken Arrow

an on tv/slingtv sort of watching listening to the John Candy movie marathon going on IFC since yesterday

I'm rotating through a couple of shows right now. I started season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again. And something doesn't feel quite right about it.

At the same time, I'm also watching Johnathon Creek. I'm up to its last season, which aired early 2010s. Now, here's the thing, Johnathon Creek is engaging. The same is true with 12 Monkeys that I'm also watching. Again, it's a show that aired about 10 years ago.

But when I watched episode 2 of Daredevil this evening, it didn't feel engaging at all. The dialogue felt a whole different from what I experienced watching Johnathon Creek earlier this evening. I can't put my finger on why it feels less engaging.
