What are you watching???

Finished up Rose Red.

It was better than I remembered. I'm adding Shirley Jackson's short stories to my TBR. And I'll watch the Haunting (1963) when it comes out on 4K later this year.
I love Rose Red. my guilty pleasure stephen king tv movie mini series besides The Stand original tv movie series.

I think the Rose Red movie had a spin off show bout the Ellie Rimbaugher character or whatever

Helen of Troy (1955)

Part of a Robert Wise marathon I've been doing today.

What's next, The Sand Pebbles, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Citizen Kane, Star Trek: TMP, West Side Story, The Sound of Music, The Andromeda Strain; Run Silent, Run Deep? So many good movies to choose from.

This wasn’t bad at all, even if who done it was screamingly obvious. If you like the Knives Out films you’ll probably enjoy this.

All of them! When I do a marathon, I watch everything I’ve got in my collection for the actor or director.

On West Side Story now…

rewatching Dark Winds season 1 on netflix this week. then probably rewatch a little bit of season 2 to refresh my memory before jumping into season 3

Finished From season 3, and I enjoyed it.

I'm currently watching:

* Babylon 5 (season 2)
* Dark Winds (season 3)
* Who's the Boss (season 1)
* Eli Roth's History of Horror (random episodes)
* Dead Zone (season 1)

I'm waiting for the next season of Father Brown to hit BritBox.

I have no idea why I watched Who's the Boss as a kid now. I watched the Pilot last night, and most of the story would have gone over my head when this originally aired. So it's fun watching it as an adult now. I heard there was a rights issue with the music, so I have no idea what original music I'm going to hear once I get past the first season.

I think, I'm going to dig up some more 70s and 80s sitcoms to rewatch as adult since I haven't seen a lot of these since they originally aired.

Dead Zone really needs to get remastered. It looks horrible. Some of the episodes aren't available on Prime, but I was able to get them on Kanopy. And both look bad. So it's definitely something with the mastering.

Babylon 5 is really good. last year i binge watched season 3. havent started season 4 yet this year but ill get around to it when done rewatching season 1 of Freddy's Nightmares and Dark Winds Season 1

SpongeBob SquarePants

perhaps strange as a person nearing 40... but i never caught more than a handful of episodes and various clips over the years, and recently i played through the ps2 platformer remakester and cosmic shake, gotten through giveaways, which were solid, and got inspired to watch the show. and i am having a good time, some solid laughs.

I definitely like B5 more than DS9. I watched it when it originally aired, but never made it all the way through.

I did buy the DVDs to binge watch, but they were so poorly mastered that I didn't get very far.
