What are you watching???

Finished the 18th season of NCIS via CBS All Access last night. Damn Christopher Lloyd delivered a hell of a monologue about the Arizona in that interrogation scene.

Started the sixth season of Hawaii Five-0 this morning, up to the sixth episode, 'Na Pilikua Nui', already.

I’m in episode 4. Ruth Lamgmore feels more like a main character than the main characters.

She is a main character to me. More so than even the wife. Frankly the rest of the characters can get murdered by the Mexicans and I'd be fine with just watching her.

She steals money and threatens to kill people and is somehow less morally objectionable than the main character.

You sympathize with her so much more, probably because the main character grew up with privilege, had a nice job and family, and got involved with a cartel purely out of greed. She grew up with nothing and sees an opportunity to have what he had.

Yes, exactly. She is trying to get her cousin to college and a better life. She does things that are awful but you understand why. The main character took the job he knew was awful for the money. Sure he has a family to support, but still. He did it for greed and in a way boredom I think. At no point do they even seriously think about just going with the FBI into witness protection, they have outs and don't take them.

She has no way out and is trying the best she can to support her family. Plus in the end what she does she does to help people who are there for her. If the rest of the characters were as well written the show would be a mega hit.

I'm not sure testifying against a Mexican drug cartel is an actual out. But, he already had a nice comfortable life with the money from his legitimate job.

The 8th episode explains that once they got pregnant with the son they wouldn't be able to make ends meet and blah blah.

In Ozark, one thing I’m not clear on. The guy who is shot in a holdup in episode 5. Is that a flash forward to his future, or was he fantasizing a noble suicide cause he’s gay in a place that’s intolerant?

Possibly catch up with last weeks Code 404 later, but for now, I'm probably going to finish off season six of Buffy.

I think that was a flash back because they showed his now scar right above his heart. I'm guessing he might have wished he died there because it would be a nobel death thing.

i just watched a really weird movie, "The Wrong Missy" on Netflix....
i really loved it...wtf? also that wrong missy is HOT!

Finished watching all 4 seasons of Queen of the South. Quite enjoyed it, though I was approaching 'binging burnout' towards the end. Last night I started White Lines over on Netfilx. It's not bad, but it's not great either. Definatley falling into the OK category.
