"Mindhunter", half way through. It's the second time i watch it and it's even better than i remembered.

Good choice.
Captain Marvel. I was really on the fence about that but ended up enjoying it a lot. One of the few Marvel movies I actually liked.
Stranger Things
Doctor Who season 5... The odd thing is this time I feel more appreciation for it then I did before. Episode 2 The Beast Below was a brilliant episode and made me teary.

someone talked about Carl Sagan on here just now,
which made me think about his novel "Contact"
this led me to "Contact the move" with Jodie Foster
which again made me remember the awesome intro..
and that finally led me to find out that the intro was inspired by another little clip...

OK that was awesome.
I love the intro to Contact as well and they did that also in the first two Men In Black movies with the 2nd movie zooming out to show I think Earth or something inside a giant set of lockers.

i forgot about them mib-movies, you'r right they did something like that!
I guess there are probably more movies with that kind of intro.
Contact was the first time i've seen that and i remember it made a real impact! =)
And yeah, Powers of Ten from 1977.... awesome stuff!

You know it's weird I remember the short film and kind of knew what it was before I clicked play on that video. I think I saw that many years ago sometime online though not back in the 70s but knew what the content was.
I often do that when looking out a window at the city or on a train or something when you are on a bridge looking down I always look and try to work out distances and stuff and make things in my head about how far away stuff is or isn't. It's fun.
