i just saw the most amazing animation....
TheWitnessCrop700.jpg

"The Witness" 12 minutes of fantastic animation, great(!) style and Cinematography!

I randomly skipt around in netflix and came over Love,Death & Robots.
i could see that there was different short-movies in every episode,
after some bad ones i tryed this one, and i was blown away.

This is fully animated, no tracing/rotoscoping or mocap/motion tracking.
the animation and rendering of the human body are totaly next level.
Be aware, there are violence and nudity here.... but it's gloriously animated!

Annihilation was a weird movie...

I wanted to watch that with an ex but they never stayed awake long enough to.

I'm watching the fucking third season of fucking Designated Survivor having only watched the first three episodes of the show. It only fucking took 5-6-7 god damn shitheads showrunners to get the show to be fucking decent.

Oh but the swearing is weird in it.

You should watch it, it's not a bad movie but it's plenty weird, and the ending made me think of "everyone's gone to the rapture" which is a video game about light based aliens that kill everyone on Earth.

Okay, who here is watching City On A Hill? I've found it to be a pretty engaging and entertaining show so far.

Also "The Loudest Voice"
I also surprisingly enjoyed the first 2 episodes of this. We'll see where the show goes, but I've enjoyed the way the first 2 episodes have tried to explain the history.

I saw it in the theater and was entertained. Though immediately upon walking out, I turned to one friend and said I'll have to watch it again on tv in another 6 months. Finally saw it again over at another friends house after about 12 months.

Theater experience was superior, but that is definitely a movie worth watching. And thinking about.

You don't see many like that.

It's very thrilling, you'll love it!

I honestly never would have heard about it without Seth's involvement but I am glad that I did. I also enjoyed "Chernobyl" recently and then finally watched "Band of Brothers". Series about historical events seem to be my new thing!

"The Loudest voice" is a series that I would love to binge. Waiting a whole week for a new episode feels very long. Being in Germany, I did not know about Roger Ailes until now so everything is new to me. I think everyone's shock about the events in episode two came over very realistically.

.

I did enjoy the first so:)

My friends were mentioning animation that they watched when they were younger and one that came up was The Tick. I hadn't seen it, but mentioned that Amazon had done a live action version, so I'm just checking that out for now.

Is it a horror movie though? Not a favorite of mine unless I have a cute peep next to me. :)

So.... I did Mad Men, from start to finish in about 7 weeks.

I did S1 & S2 a few years back and drifted off. Given it was up there with Breaking Bad I thought I better give it a go proper.

Masterful.
