What are you watching???

I saw Creed yesterday.

Excellent film. Emotional film.

I also saw, for the third time, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Both movies dealt with older generations teaching the younger generation, and said older generations showing us - the audience - that mortality is a thing of competently written characters, no matter which galaxy they may be a part of.

They're talking about Creed 2, but I don't think we need it. However, we do need Episode 8 because I want to find out what's up wit Luke and Rey...and I want know what goes on with Finn when he wakes up. And I want to know how dark Rian Johnson will make the film.

(I also watched the latest Star Wars: Rebels episode with Leia, Supergirl, 2 Broke Girls, and Black-ish).

Attenborough and the Giant Dinosaur

Fascinating. The discovery of the biggest ever animal to walk the earth.

I don't have TV or Amazon prime or nothing. It's youtube entertainment for me. I'm watching zen doodling. Regardless of how mainstream it has become, I lack patience for such an activity and I thought I'd try patience.

I watched Star Wars: Rebels, I'm very sorry to say I was disappointed in it. I didn't really like the characterization of Leia or how she interacted with Ezra, there was almost something there but it was off. I didn't think it was horrible, just they could have done better. I hope that she shows up again.

I would really like to read thoughts on this episode. Schmoesknow (via Collider) thought the Imperials acted a bit silly since they could piece anything together.

In regards to Leia and Ezra, there seemed to be some connection because they're not only close in age, but because they both were torn away from their actual families and had to 'grow up' quicker than normal.

Creed was awesome. And yes, Luke has become Obi-Wan and Rocky has become Mickey. The circles are complete.

My Christmas gift to myself this year was slim-packed version of the Blu-ray James Bond collection -- all 23 official films, with an empty spot at the end for Spectre. I've been working my way through the series since Christmas, and I'm now up to Moonraker.

Have also recently re-watched Murder on the Orient Express and Shaft, and watched the most recent episodes of Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and Hell's Kitchen.

Picked up seasons 1-3 of Arrow and am currently making my way through season 1. Loving it so far since I've only seen the bits and pieces during crossovers with The Flash.

Watching Chuck for now, but later, Killjoys season 1 starts on Syfy (Finally).

I liked Dark Matter, so we'll see how this goes.

Storage Hunters UK

Always fun to watch. Might be my new addiction. Sean Kelly makes it more than just buying tat from a box.

NCIS LA, Gotham, Blindspot and Castle for tonight.

I thought Killjoys was ok, so I'll tune in next week to see how it goes.
