What are you watching???

Black-ish

Some examples of the dialogue from the most recent episode:

"She likes comic books and message boards!"

"Do we live in a world where Captain America: Winter Soldier doesn't exist?"

^It really is. It's one of the very few shows that's great right from the start.

Tonight, watched Downton Abbey & Manor of Speaking.

8 out of 10 cats does countdown

More Sean Lock and Richard Ayoade on my telly please. And Rachel Riley obviously. Sam Simmons is quite funny.

Recorded the first episode of Angie Tribeca and didn't even make it 5 minutes in.. thanks, but i believe i've outgrown Naked Gun style of humor (shame because i really like Rashida Jones).

Selma

A subject this profound deserved a better film. I thought it was pretty mediocre stuff. The real footage was instantly more compelling than anything in the film.

I personally thought it was 'okay' myself...only because I felt "Malcolm X" by Spike Lee was a much more 'angrier' film and much more hard-hitting. "Selma" was good but it was a bit safe at times.

In other news, I just started Season 3 of Orphan Black. At this rate I'll have enough time to catch up on other shows and be ready when OB returns in April.

^It felt like a TV movie at times. Could have been much better.

Masters of the Universe

Haven't seen this since it was released (because it's kinda awful). So I'm sat there thinking... "Oh wow, Courtney Cox was in this... I totally forgot about that...HOLY SHIT is that Tom Paris?!!!"

I finished Season 3 of Orphan Black.

It's interesting: The show seems more stronger when it's focused on the female clones, not so much when the male clones are put into the stories...as evidenced by other comments on the site where I watched this 3rd season.

Not too mention, the show has a lot going on now which can be confusing for some as also evidenced by the comments. However, the show has shown itself to be smart so I'm going to be positive and say that certain things will be covered in the next season.

There is one plot line that seemed to be temporarily dropped: The detective using the recovering druggie/alcohol abuser to track my favorite clone Allison.

Watched Supernatural and Agent Carter.

Love Supernatural, but this episode was little more than "set-up." Agent Carter was AWESOME. I like this show sooo much more than Agents of SHIELD.

I watched Agent Carter two parter, Face Off and Finding Your Roots. I'm also beginning a rewatch of most of Kevin Smith films. I haven't watched most of them in a long time, so I started with Clerks, Mallrats and Chasing Amy.
