What are you watching???

Sherlock, season 3 - FINALLY!!! I didn´t want to watch it on German TV, so I had to wait fo the Blu-rays tor be released.
Impressive! I certainly wouldn't have waited that long, especially since Netflix and BBC iPlayer offered it much sooner.

I don´t like to watch TV shows or movies online but prefer the quality of a blu-ray and the look of the box in my shelf :)
Plus, waiting can also be fun ...

Taped an old Hammer movie, "Hands of the Ripper," off TCM last night. Never seen that one before . . ..

I've got a whole pile of movies that I need to watch before they're due back at the library this weekend, including:

  • On the Beach
  • The Man Who Knew Too Much (the Jimmy Stewart version)
  • RoboCop (the new version)
  • Lost in Space
  • Kings of Summer

Children.

Little bastards are pretending to go to sleep, but I know better.

If I blink, they'll be stealing chocolate and playing PS3 on mute.

Castle Black I am not.

^^ Compared to kids, the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who are barely amateur league material.

Right now, Good Morning Vietnam.

I've also got an episode of Almost Human, 24 and XIII to catch up on along with the film Invictus.

Watched the very first "Gamera" movie last night.

Looking forward to the return of "Defiance" tonight.

After just finishing House M.D., I'm checking out A Bit of Fry and Laurie on Netflix to see more of the work of Hugh Laurie.

Watched a few episodes of Law & Order (10th season) earlier.

Watching Stranger by the Lake now.

Probably going to watch some ancient black & white SciFi later.

Watching the BBC Sherlock pilot.

I'm not sure if House copied old school Sherlock Holmes or Sherlock copied House. Maybe it's both. House is basically Doctor Sherlock Holmes. And you know naming Wilson a similar sounding word to Watson was 100% intentional. But Sherlock took a lot of the same aesthetic to put it in a modern setting.
