Friends with Benefits right now. Later the season finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D followed by NCIS.

I hear good things about Black Sails, a prequel to Treasure Island, that just finished on Starz, but I didn't watch it becuase... Pirates don't really do it for me.
Alas, I don't get STARZ,but I may have to check that out when it hits DVD . . ..
Last I've seen was House of Cards, and it was amazing.
At the moment, I'm desperately trying to give Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. a chance, because my best friend likes it a lot, but so far... meh. Not sure yet.
Blue Bloods is on my list, as well as Shameless. But turns out, that it's June already, so at first I'll watch the final season of True Blood before anything else will flicker on my TV.

^ The first few episodes of Agents of SHIELD really suck, but once we get into Bill Paxton/the Clairvoyant/Hydra episodes, things get much, much better. The season ends far better than it starts.
You do remember that that's around past the half way mark that you are suggesting when it stops to suck?
But yes the beginning sucks like all beginnings suck because the network demands explosions and boobs, because that's what ordinary people, according to the network, like and if you don't have at least either explosions or boobs then they might as well cancel you before the ratings come in.

I took a break from tv shows and watched Thor: The Dark World and Son of Batman on blu-ray last night.
