I'm now drinking a cherry porter.
The whole idea of mixing cherry-juice into a porter was revolting to me... so revolting that I had to try one
-not bad actually -and WAY better than cherry-cola!

A glass of Sicilian white wine...and frankly, I deserve it. Working on Saturdays kind of sucks. But, Hertha BSC Berlin has won today's match, so that's worth celebrating, I guess.

I was watching a cooking show in which the hostess showed how to make a refreshing cocktail in the blender from fresh ginger and cucumbers. I made it tonight and I have to say it is absolutely stomach turning.

I tried "rescuing" it by adding fresh orange and pineapple juice, but really only ended up making twice the amount of terrible mistake in liquid form.
