Oeufs en cocotte, with some leftover bearnaise sauce.
This has to be the most random-seeming recipe I've ever attempted: eggs and cream, baked in buttered ramekins, which are placed in a dish of water.
Though I have to admit, the results were tasty. A lot like poached eggs.
Now moving on to coffee.

Sauté de veau Marengo (brown veal stew with tomatoes and mushrooms), over rice. Delicious. The veal practically melted in my mouth.
The recipe called for a strip of orange peel—I’m not sure what that added to the flavour, exactly, but it was pretty cool, tossing it into the pot.
