Corn.
A friend had found the perfect way to cook it, somewhere online, and I just had to try it out...
You put the whole cob, including the husk, in the microwave on full power for 4 minutes.
Cut about 1/2 an inch worth of it off in the end with the stalk.
Push (wriggle it a bit) the cob out of the husk (like paste out of a tube) and without further work it is ready to eat!
All those pesky 'hairs' remain in the husk!!!
