Re: Pepperoni I will say, I'm not a fan of spicy food. Salame piccante is nice, but in small quantity. For sandwiches, I prefer salami: especially salame Felino and Finocchiona (sorry, links only in Italian). As a pizza topping, I prefer plain Italian sausage. And I must confess, I had to find "hifalutin" on the dictionary because I had no idea what it means. Wikionary gives the meaning as "Self-important, pompous; arrogant or egotistical; tending to show off or hold oneself in unduly high regard". Which is actually quite accurate!
