I just need a little terrarium for my tarantula. lol oh so many people say that! My ex was absolutely terrified of them, he wouldn't let me get one, but I feel they are so very adorable and I can't wait to have her in my office. Lots of research to do first!

My house is waaay too big for little old me, I need more little friends. I have just a kitty and a fish right now, but I'm talking to a friend and I have plans to grow! I feel I'd like to upgrade my 20 gallon aquarium to maybe 100 gallons or more, and my basement is finished but with some work it could be turned into a lovely menagerie for some budgies (don't worry, there is natural light down there!). I'd love to have a snake, but I'm not sure where I'd put her, and not to get too far ahead of myself! First project right now is my tarantula.

I live in a town but I have two houses knocked into one and also what used to be the village coal bunker along with several outlying buildings. It means I have plenty of space for growing veg and fruit plus the hens can pretty much wander free as the see fit.

Snakes are ridiculously low maintenance pets, the key thing is establishing the correct environment and learning about feeding patterns. Once you've got those down it's plain sailing (mostly).

I knew someone who ended up with her kids snake when they moved aboard. She found an enjoyable pet except for the fact she had to keep frozen mice in the freezer.

I love chickens. They have personalities. I remember the neighbours had one and just left it when they were away. There was a heatwave and we brought it inside to revive it. Had the air-conditioner on for it
