Same movie, slightly different versions.Posted by mrcoaster:
I was thinking maybe a dose of Dead Alive, too.Posted by The Evil Dead:
Please add Braindead to that list.
Any what???Posted by BlackDog:
Kanar please, kev - and have you got any spoo?
I like your assessment. I don't think the killer had any motives at all, except maybe that since he was dying he'd make others hurt & kill each other to take his mind off himself. I certainly don't buy that he was trying to make them "appreciate life" more.Posted by Montresor:
I just got back from Saw, and was pretty satisfied by it. There were definitely some interesting twists and reveals, though the killer's motivations were a trifle iffy. Danny Glover's acting was a little "off" to me; I guess he's getting too old for this shit. And Tobin Bell's voicework was very creepy; even moreso than Kiefer Sutherland's in Phone Booth.
Despite its flaws, it's still a heck of a lot more interesting than a lot of the thrillers bigger studios crank out. ***1/2/*****

I don't do horrors much, but ones like this catch my interest more. Cause it's more realistic than some crazy supernatural lunatic running around killing everything in site. Maybe it's not a good thing; I'd certainly never want the scenes they depict here to be real!

It's pretty much self-serve here, I think, as long as you're discreet about it.
I think I'll open a few bottles of 2309 blood wine to celebrate my assimilation into the rear admiralcy.
Cheers!

^ I liked Daredevil too, BigFoot! It's a fun movie!
And let's face it...what's not to love about Ben Afleck in red leather?![]()
