I’m not colour blind, I am aware there are issues around the world. I just choose not to treat or view anyone as different whether they’re White, Black, Asian, Gay or Trans gender.
Rightly or wrongly I’m bringing my kids up not to view or treat any one differently, of course to respect other cultures but to treat them exactly the same as they would anyone else, because if I was in the same position I wouldn’t want people to view me differently, but what do I know, I’m white and straight so I can’t possibly comment on anything.
I’m not going to bother commenting any more on the subject because it’s pointless! Wasted words!
Which in itself isn't a problem.
But we aren't talking about how you treat people in your day to day life.
We're talking about the way you are denying the existence of a problem whilst not listening to the very people affected by it. People who are black, gay, trans are telling you your experience of the issue doesn't gel with yours but you are insisting that they are "sad" for being affected by something you claim isn't a problem because you aren't on the receiving end.
