Was Trip the friendliest Star Trek character ever?

A lot of characters could qualify as friendly, just as many qualify as prickly. Troi was usually pretty nice, so were Beverly and Data. Bashir was personable enough. Neelix and Kes were both quite nice. And yes, so was Trip. And Phlox.

Tuvix. That's why Janeway took him out. She could not live knowing someone nicer than her existed in the universe.

Tuvix actually was quite nice. Neelix's ebullience and Tuvok's reticence combine to form a very personable, but not obnoxiously so, individual.

The most friendly character from each series are as follows; Neelix from Voyager, Data from TNG, Kirk from TOS, Quark from DS9, Trip from Enterprise, the rest all appear to be quite approachable.

The more I think on Trip, the more I realize that his mood tends to stay fairly even; certain nice(r?) characters may regularly peak (unusual exuberance) or dip (unfortunate momentary cynicism), but Trip more-or-less remains stable in his outlook.
