Was the actress cast to play T'Pau too young

For TNG remasters they should have digitally inserted newly shot footage with Wil Wheaton as he is now. That would have been a hoot.

if they re inserted okder will wheaton then they should have sheldon come after him in a bird of prey 1 love cross overs 2 love to see sheldon asa klingon

True, but it seems rare they find an actor that does. I'm still scratching my head on how Levar Burton grew up to be John Amos. And that was in the same production.
Usually, they have older versions of characters appearing, so all they do is age the actors. This would have been more difficult because it was a YOUNGER T'Pau.

Another Vulcan who doesn't seem to age at all is Tuvok! How many years are there between Star Trek VI and Voyager? And he looks the same in both. (Of course, the Star Trek VI flashback was only in his mind, but he couldn't have looked much younger all those years before Voyager!)

Of course, a lot of the problem with making T'Pau look younger is that, even if Celia Lovsky ( the original actress) was still alive, it would be impossible to make her look much younger! I think Kara Zediker did a good job as the younger T'Pau.

Here's an interesting question. The Vulcan doctor on TNG, Selar, who becomes a known character, has anyone any idea how old SHE is supposed to be? She looks young, but with Vulcans that doesn't mean much.

Something to consider here, she may have been emotional and a bit childish in some aspects but the character was only 32 years old, now consider this, Vulcans can live past 200 years and the only reason we don't see many older than that is that the few we know of at that age have debilitating illnesses or we don't see die onscreen. If this is so then consider humans live to about 100 or so with a few exceptions that go far further, this would mean that T'Pau as of that episode is in fact somewhere around 15/16 human years old, she would not be completely grown mentally and physically at this point.

Also combine this with the fact that she has only had a very few people around her in her life, meeting others would automatically put her on the defensive which would also include a weakening of her emotional defences. All in all any lapses like this could explain a lot, her aging could also be explained by the fact she lived on a hot world and was known to have lived in the hottest area of Vulcan and likely continued to visit there. Now compare this to most of the Vulcans we meet in series that are on starships or move between worlds on a regular basis, this would mean the wear on their bodies that the Vulcan sun causes would be greatly reduced especially for those like Sarek and Spock.
