This has proabably been discussed to the far side of hell and back, but, in the episode Where No One Has Gone Before The ship gets flung across the universe and ends up somewhere very odd looking, and the crew has odd visions.
I also know the ep is based on The Wounded Sky, which I would like to read at some point.
What I'd like to discuss is what others take from the episode. Do we know what the writer had in mind with the Time/Space/Thought relationship. Was the edge of the universe to be taken literally?
I'm not sure it was literally, as most theories have the universe as some kind of 4D sphere as it were, but I've never seen any talk of this episode.
Whats the story?
