Warner bros announce superhero films through 2020

Poor DC just really seems to be struggling with this next batch of movies.

D.C. Comics isn't the only movie franchise that has encountered this problem. Marvel has. And the STAR WARS franchise. In fact, the SW franchise has encountered such struggles in the past with Lucas and currently with Disney.

Sure some of their movies have run into issues, but not with the frequency that DC seems to be.

You mean like the Disney SW films?

Actually, the DC flims seemed to be plagued more by rumors from DCEU bashers than pre-production problems. It almost seems as if cerrtain fans want the franchise to fail. Why, I don't know. It's not a threat to them.

It seems, sometimes, that many are behaving as if movie productions are not allowed to have problems. These problems are common in Hollywood and other film industries. And yet, the media and many moviegoers continue to act like Chicken Little, predicting doom, every time a rumor or news story about a production problem comes up . . . especially with the DCEU lately. Actually, it's getting as boring as the constant rumors about Ben Affleck leaving the franchise.

Production "problems" in Rogue One lead to the best scene in the movie.

WB has yet to show us that they can manage their problems and give us something great (your mileage may vary, of course). Heck, they have enough trouble even without production issues on their movies...

The most vocal DCEU whiners are (ore often than not) bitter MCU fans, who not only had to deal with several lackluster and/or expensive cartoons sold as movies of that franchise, but see that DC is not in the business of making glorified Power Rangers movies.

As a fan of both the MCU films (all of them) and Power Rangers, this statement is both incorrect and unintentionally hilarious. The MCU has never made anything resembling a "glorified Power Rangers" movie, they certainly haven't had "several" lackluster films (certainly not the same percentage as DC) and I both think the DCEU is generally mediocre (outside of WW) and yet I'm not, in any way, a "bitter MCU fan", same as 99% of people who don't like the DCEU.

Having a superhero movie with color and fun doesn't make it a cartoon or like Power Rangers. just like how being all muted colors, depression, and somehow pretentious in a really stupid way doesn't make DCEU movies (specifically Snyder's) more mature or in any way better then the MCU films.

Wonder Woman was fantastic, but I don't remember problems like scripts being completely re-written, directors dropping out and the like.

Michelle MacLaren was originally attached to direct before she dropped out due to "creative differences" which was one of the go to arguments on how WB is going to "ruin" WW by interfering during its production, and there were numerous "reports" that Wonder Woman is a shambolic mess, unwathcable and so forth, not to mention all the stupid "controversies" that filled the headlines like the armpits and candy bars...

People forget all the clickbait bullshit that surrounded it now, but Wonder Woman was absolutely not immune to it.
