Want to play GTAVI? Get a PS5!

Jokes on you, I've got an Xbox Series X!

The soundtrack selections sounds solid (making me exited at what other retro tracks from late 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 00s they'll use).

I think they need another radio station like GTA 4's The Journey (but featuring ambient electronic tracks by Leftfield, Moby, The Prodigy, and Engima, etc).

That is such BS. So, companies already want buyers to pay nearly $100 for a copy of the game, and selling a $400 box of goodies on top of that feels like they are quite out of touch. Pure greed. In Canada, that box would be $565, which is almost as expensive as a last-gen console. Actually, if you want to be more specific, the standard edition of GTA6 is $109, and the Ultimate Edition is $139. When you put taxes into account, it comes out to nearly $200 for a game. :(

I sincerely hope it's not the start of a trend. It's not as if games aren't expensive enough as is in certain markets without them pulling this kind of BS. On the other hand, I suppose it's down to how much players are willing to put up with, but it's publishers like them that will end up making it more expensive for everyone in the end.

I'm excited for it. I feel starved for new GTA, I've done several replays of past titles but it's time for something brand new, for surprises. I've tried to fill the void with similar games but they've just not quite been the same.

I hope (in vain I know) that Rockstar get their shit together and stop taking 156 years to release a new game.

They've actually stated that the time they've put into this will mean less time on future games as they can build them sideways rather than vertically. I've heard that said before though with other companies, so who knows. The hope is that they can be more like in the 3D era where they released Vice City only after GTA 3. Maybe not that quickly, but more frequent. My hope is that this might also translate to them actually doing dlcs.
