Spoilers WandaVision discussion thread

Correct me if I'm wrong, but while Marvel got her powers from the Infinity stone, that doesn't mean she still draws from it. And Wanda they established was always a witch, the Infinity stone merely unlocked her abilities.

Vision is the only one who is actively powered by an infinity stone, and even there there is some confusion over what of him is from the stone, and what is from the vibranium/human mixed body, what is from Ultron, and what is from Jarvis. The new version was activated by what we later found out is Wanda's Chaos magic, so it may be that, since he's powered by chaos magic, there is no noticeable difference in his abilities at all.

Hot damn, this show was amazing, from start from finish. The bar is set pretty high for the other MCU Disney+ shows, that's for damn sure.

Couldn't agree more. It ended up being a hundred times better than I thought it might be from the early trailers. As quirky as it seemed it was going to be, that was just part of the charm early on.

Now I wonder if we'll get a Scarlet Witch series, or will Wanda show up in the next Dr. Strange movie like others have guessed.

Definitely hoping for the Photon/Skrull series or movie. More likely a series, but who knows?

While this may likely be the case, we don't know enough about the nature of the stones to say for sure. Do these various cosmic energies originate from the stones, or are the stones merely an access and control point.

Reguardless, Wanda was definitely supercharged by the Mind Stone, not just unlocked.

Where did White Vision go?
Away for a deep think. He'll return when Wanda needs him, I'm certain. Any further explanation beyond that doesn't matter.

And what became of Agnes? She'd be the only one still under the influence. Anyone in her life would notice something as off about her.
Well, Agatha is stuck in Westview. Only the people of Westview will see her and they'll just ignore her because they know who she really is.

I'm thinking now that White Vision will show up in the next Dr. Strange movie so that Wanda has somebody to pair up with and provide her life in the film with additional drama.
Not necessarily. We know there are going to be a lot of moving parts in The Multiverse of Madness and I'm guessing there won't be much room for White Vision, especially since the core of the story is going to focus on magic...and Dr. Strange since, you know, it's his movie. ;)

So that shot when the family all snap to action poses and the camera tracks in at a low angle...intentionally an Incredibles homage or what? :)
Absolutely! I didn't think of it myself until I saw a screen cap of the moment. :D

We already know for a fact that Wanda is going to be in The Multiverse of Madness. There are no plans for a second season but I'm willing to bet there will be an announcement of such after The Multiverse of Madness, based on how things ended regarding Wanda. They haven't announced it yet because it would spoil those events. Just a guess.

Monica will be in the next Captain Marvel movie and we also know there's an upcoming series called Secret Invasion with Nick Fury that will continue the Skrull storyline.

^So, not really much of an answer. We don't really know what Agnes was doing before Wanda started all of it. Was she already in Westview? If she was, folks who knew her before all of this would notice something was off.

Because she took over Ralph Bohner's house, I suspect she wasn't originally a Westview resident, rather she was attracted by the sudden surge of chaos magic and went there to investigate.

Considering Salem, Westview, and her general view of life (I will steal your power for my own gain), she strikes me as a loner.

Mmm...

Was there ever a clear shot of the car plates? A street scene early in the finale clearly showed plates that resembles Connecticut plates (Blue to white)....in a town set in New Jersey (yellowish plates). Sorry...quite jarring for someone who went to high school in Connecticut.

Don't we know when when Agatha showed up from the song and her impact on the community while under the spell? She shows up while things go from color to black and white instantly and she shows up at Wanda's door so I think we can assume when we first see the character is her literallyher arriving like 30 seconds before Wanda opened the door.

Also since she is more interested in Wanda then I am guessing she spent most of her time when not playing her part for Wanda just hanging out her place with her" husband." Closest we see her having much of interaction with anyone other than Wanda, Vision or the kids is that spell she used on the black man neighbor who was living next door and was going all crazy with his weed wacker which I think was because he didn't know Agnes thus she maybe had to alter his mind somehow thus making Wanda's spell go wonky much like it did for people on the outskirts of town. Plus I think at the magic show she might have talked to Emma Caulfield but I don't recall what she did their that well so I might be wrong.

Boner was a character on Growing Pains. It's actually a sad story. The actor was Walter Koenig's son. You can see him the DS9 ep "Sanctuary." He is the kid that gets in a fight with Nog and later dies while taking a ship to Bajor's surface and being shot at leading to the ship exploding. He ended up hanging himself years later at a park in Canada.

Another Growing Pains link. Matt Shakman (director and exec producer of WandaVision) was a regular on "Just The Ten of Us" which was a spin-off of Growing Pains (it's pilot was a two part episode of GP). He played JR (Graham Lubbock Junior).

There may not be a WandaVision 2 but clearly I think we will get a Scarlett Witch Show.

Agatha is stuck in the Hex, and the hex is not in Westview anymore.

Although, the Hex could on the inside still look like Westside.

Although...

From a processing point of view, it would be easier to rerun Gilligans Island inside the Hex, where ever it's hiding, whether it's the size of a walnut or a city.

That's the other connection I had read about!

Perhaps so, but like I said in my subsequent post, it feels more likely that it's Carol since she was the one who had been previously referenced in the show.
The scene was very cloak and dagger, so my money is on Fury.

And it's Scarlet Witch, with one "t".
