Bliss and Dark Frontier were both great...
Bliss was actually a rewatch, but I didn't know it was called Bliss when I first, randomly watched it. I appreciated it more this time, probably because of watching the series in sequence. I liked Qatai... he was Captain Ahab and Quint rolled into one: a salty, little bit crazy, but likable guy. He, Seven, Naomi, and the Doc were a motley crew, but they were engaging, and ultimately effective against the ... whatever it was called... that trapped Voyager. This episode reminded of an X-Files ep called "Field Trip", but the VOY ep actually aired first (~2 months prior), which leaves me wondering about how original that X-Files ep was. The idea was almost exactly the same, except it didn't take place in space.
Dark Frontier was also good, and on Netflix streaming it's apparently shown in its full scope, as opposed to being separated into 2, normal lengths eps. You can see where the cliffhanger would have been though. Of course, I liked it because it's a Seven ep, but it did further that mother-daughter relationship between her and Janeway, which was good for both characters. Hopefully they continue to expound on that in future eps. Overall, I liked the way Seven's personality is slowly progressing and developing... you can see she's applied past experiences and learned behavior gradually, which makes it more realistic imo. Too bad they couldn't get Alice Krige to play the Borg Queen though... the actress here was good, but no patch on Krige.
