Voyager Season 5

Sooooo... general query, if anyone has an opinion :
Is there any point in me rewatching Future's End before I watch Relativity?

No, but it is referenced, and so is the episode "Timeless" which happened in the "Dakara sector." There may be another episode referenced as well. Possibly Year of Hell. I don't remember.

Enjoy! I love Relativity. It's so
fun

Alright, fair enough... thanks both of you. I just read about some sort of crossover with those eps, and my brain is probably hazy on some of the details from FE.

And Prax, my friend, FUN is not a spoiler... ;)

Hey Mouse ... I don't think you need to rewatch it although I surely would if I had the time since FUTURE'S END is a gem! BTW, SPOILER (no idea how to make the spoiler sign, sorry) Captain Braxton is played by a different guy on RELATIVITY (does anyone know why?) but don't let that get in the way of enjoying the ep.

When I think of Voyager season 5 the first thing that comes to mind is how perfectly they were styling Kate Mulgrew's hair.

It was never as good either before or after that.

...and, incidentally, the actor who played Braxton in Relativity was also in My Cousin Vinny (though he looked really different then I did recognize his face and had to look him up to confirm).
Man I'm going to go to the grave with every character actor's face from the 1990s burned into my brain.

This is such a fun episode. One of my favorite parts:
(Paris is walking along, bouncing a table tennis ball on a bat.)
SEVEN: A curious exercise.
PARIS: Yeah. Ping-Pong. You should try it, it's a great test of hand-eye coordination.
SEVEN: I don't require testing.
EMH: Yeah, so the Doc tells me. A visual acuity index of ninety nine point six. You know, you'd be great at this game. Why don't you be my partner in the doubles tournament tonight? Chapman was supposed to play, but he's come down with a nasty case of space sickness.
SEVEN: I'm busy.
PARIS: Oh, too bad. Well, I guess I'll have to tell B'Elanna that you thought you couldn't beat her.
SEVEN: You're attempting to appeal to my vanity.
PARIS: Is it working?
(Yes)

It was also nice to see a Voyager before the pilot episode. They did this in TNG's "All Good Things" too.

It was a fun episode... you were correct on that count, Prax. That exchange between Paris and Seven was great. I also vastly preferred seeing Seven in a Starfleet uniform, although I get why she doesn't normally wear one (both the human-male piece and the one regarding her actual place on Voyager per the story ). She looks way better than in that bio-suit, but that's coming from a straight female, so my perception is probably off. ;)
