Voyager on blu ray?

If the VOY Blu ray does come out eventually,I'll be looking forward to seeing more bloopers.(I'm sure they have more in storage;look at the amount of TNG bloopers released with the blu ray!)

You know I keep saying that I spent 10 years acquiring all of Trek on dvd and there was no way I was going through all that again with blu-rays. But this year I was in a dvd store and they were playing The Empire Strikes Back on blu ray on a big ass screen and it was so very beautiful I got choked up. So someday I might have to up my tech and VOY on blu ray might be what makes me do it.

I do think DS9 looks godawful sometimes though and I'm glad they are doing that one next.

I've said the same thing, and for the most part, I am sticking to my guns, but I think in the case of Star Wars and Star trek, I am making an exception. If DS9 turns out half as well as TNG did on Blu ray, and if Voyager gets similar treatment, I am hocking all my trek DVDs and upgrading to Blu Ray.

If TNG's upgrading is any indication, DS9 will look stunning in HD, as I always thought it had the best photography and sets of all the spin-offs. I got all of DS9 on DVD, so I'm already on board an upgrade. As for VOY, I never bought any of the DVD sets... unlikely I'll ever get it on blu-ray either. TOS/TNG/DS9 are good enough for me, and perhaps seasons 3 and 4 of ENT.

I have all the shows and movies on DVD, including TAS. I rebought TOS on Blu and am collecting TNG again. ENT i bought seasons 1 and 2 on blu, although the show is already in high def and looks great already. The upgrade is not nearly as noticeable as the difference between TNG on DVD (horrible) and Blu ray (exceptional).

Alternating seasons of DS9 and VOY in the later seasons of DS9, replicating their broadcast releases, sound perfect. I have no idea how well the TNG and ENT blu rays are selling, but since they're still releasing them I'd hope that means they're doing well.

The budget for all 7 seasons was pre-arranged before the project even started, so there was never a possibility of stopping mid-way through.

I assume that Voyager would probably be the most expensive of all three series to upgrade, considering that Voyager's last four seasons were pretty much all CGI aside from stock shots?
