Tried to get detail as close as I could from screencaps but with some license. It's a lot more fun when you're sitting in it (so to speak) as screencaps don't really capture 3D element. If anyone interested in what looks like ingame, pops up about 2:30 in here (selection of shuttle bridges I created/adapted for BC as, amazingly, game didn't have them - including VOY's Type 8 and 11 shuttles):

I thought I found a "great" song for Janeway... but when I searched youtube I found it had already "been done".
To be honest, after seeing it, I'm not sure the song choice was a good one, or it the vidder just wasn't as expert with the editing as our own (froot, Possum, Vas) are.

^ I think the quality is only "bad" because they are old vids - that J/7 you liked looks like it may even have been made from VHS. They are good vids, though.

Yeah. Definitely VHS - my personal guess is that the videos were cobbled together from multiple sources (hence the varying watermarks, subtitles, etc.) If a clip keeps getting re-coded over and over it's going to degrade in quality pretty quick. And even the stuff taken from VHS wouldn't have been very good quality anyway - I have a thing that caps from VHS and it turns everything into crappy mpeg-2.
I made my first VOY vid four years ago or so, and besides Sazzy, I don't think too many people were using the DVDs as sources yet - mostly VHS caps that had been passed around. YouTube was pretty new.
I do love the songs, though!

I can't believe that I did that. I really can't believe that I made a half-way decent video. Some of my transitions are off a bit and that's my fault because I didn't hit pause and split the video quick enough. Oops.
But all-in-all not a bad first video.

MAIR!!!!! that was great!!! You know I don't think I've seen a JC angst vid where the angst was focused on 7. That was really moving, the Admiral thinking back on it. Now of course there are probably tons of them but shipper videos have never been my thing so in this case it stood out. And very nice song too!!! Very neat and attractively done!!!
