I can give you a recommendation. Check out a story called Those Who Are Left Behind by Jamelia116. It is archived on both Fanfiction.net and Archive of Our Own. It's not just about a Harry/Seven relationship, there's a lot of other stuff going on. It's a canon divergent AU that covers the first half of season 4. It was written a long time ago, when Voyager was in it's first run I think.

I read some of your stories. Although I'm not a T/P shipper, well, I enjoyed them but the serie of vignettes about Chakotay's journey toward friendship with Tom Paris... Are you serious?
I mean, it was clear that they supported/tolerated the presence of each other on board throughout 7 years because they had no choice. The only common points which they shared were their felony & B'Elena Torres (though not on the same level: as a loyal friend for Chakotay and as a girlfriend then wife for Tom).
-> the exchange between Chakotay and Tom Paris in Nothing Human about the fact of acting against B'Elena's last wish (5x08) translates quite well the antagonism between both.

Yes, I'm serious. My point wasn't that they became best buddies but that Chakotay realized Tom wasn't a complete waste of space and could change. As far as I'm concerned the exchange Nothing Human was a one-time thing brought on by unusual circumstances. If Neelix or Harry was arguing for the other side I believe the argument with Tom would have been just as heated. The writers just happened to have picked Chakotay to be the voice for the other side of the issue for that episode but that's just how I saw it.
But it's ok if you disagree. I've read some fanfic that's left me completely confused wondering where the author was coming from.
