Hehe, it's fun when parents want to share their interests with their kids. My mom succeeded in getting me into voyager- after she had moved on to the CSIs. (The video was a present for her. She likes Paris.)

Wow. That is a GREAT redux. She's added atmosphere and cleaned up some of the effect heavy elements. However I prefer the ending to the first one. I wonder why she changed it?

I think this deserves a certain thread revival..

It never works when I post or link to images, but I'm trying again. Maybe these links will work better for others than they do for me, on my ancient computer and browser.

These are Janeway and Torres images I drew with a mouse, in MS Paint. No Photoshop or copying or borrowing of anyone else's images. They were done bit by bit over two or three years.

First is Janeway, second is B'lanna, then third is the same Janeway again, only not G-rated, though not at all smutty....

Your drawings are so great! I'm always amazed by mouse stuff. Once upon a time I could replicate my pencil drawing skill with mouse, but that talent is long gone.

Do you paste in tones for the shading? Like, you have a file of tone and you cut a bit in and paste it over, or do you just shade bit by bit?

This is just MS Paint, so what I've done is to make a bmp image, blow it up 800%, and draw in squares of parallel lines, or equidistant square dots, etc, in several color combinations. I try to copy and paste from those, but often I just have to go in and draw them on the mouse drawing itself. The Janeway is my first mouse drawing with shading.
