Voyager Episode Posters

A great episode - fondly remembered for Tuvok choking Neelix. I didn't want to use a photograph on this one - seemed to lazy, quite happy with how this one turned out.

I haven't made a poster for a while! But I had to try out Canva's new Text to Image AI. It's not very good - but it made this cool background when I gave it the words 'body and soul'

Celebrating the episode's best moment... nice.

Fun fact: If you begin Star Trek: Voyager episode Spirit Folk at exactly 11:49:35 on New Year's Eve, Ensign Harry Kim will smooch the cow as the clock strikes midnight.

So, as I'd watched Demon - I followed up with Course: Oblivion. Quite a bleak episode and one that feels a bit mean spirited. That said, the show was trying something different and that should be applauded. Janeway really does take a long time to make the right decision in this one!

The design for this came quite easily - I knew I wanted a skull and crossbones to signify all the death. And the silver blood spatter just seemed the next logical step. I'm not sure my warping of the Voyager came out so well though - but it was the best I could do.

Love it!

Voyager usually has terrific production values, but this is a rare instance where the poor design of the robot really lets things down. The episode is OK, though a bit hackneyed. The poster is supposed to look like an electronic music cover. It took me ages to come up with some sort of design for this one.

I thought it was kind of a throwback 70s Dr Who style design.

Watched this one again last night, and was inspired to make another poster. This one looks a bit like a book cover.

It's the first time that I use an actual screenshot from the show. What I'd imagined was two hands reaching for one another and then the explosion being in the second hand, with friendship one as a tatoo on the arm. But in practice, it looked bad.
