Just a bit of photo manipulation. Removed the background from the original image, copied the image and offset it slightly. Then I used a preset filter to kind of posterize it and then toned the image to that purple and blue hue - added a bit of pixellation and noise. I use a photo editor called polarr and GIMP.Nice one! Almost looks like the robot is displayed on some sort of LED screen. How did you achieve that look? Is it some filter in Photoshop?
Personally I always rather liked the design of the robots in “Prototype”. They were crude, but definitely a unique look I hadn't seen done anywhere else.
Voyager usually has terrific production values, but this is a rare instance where the poor design of the robot really lets things down.
The "Prototype" robots always put me in mind of an escaped robot/creature from the Doctor Who universe.Personally I always rather liked the design of the robots in “Prototype”. They were crude, but definitely a unique look I hadn't seen done anywhere else.
Oh, your photographs are amazing! I love how you've set everything up, and the icing sugar snow is, if you'll pardon the pun, the icing on the cake (or biscuit)A hobby of mine is photography, so I plan to do some macro photography of starship models and include those in future posters. Below are some fun shots using biscuits, tea towels and old action figures - not Star Trek, but the next best thing!
