Voyager coming to a BBC America

What on earth are the BBC thinking? I could maybe understand TNG being on there - it was a good show and had a great British lead - but Voyager?

Really?!?!

I do realise that they have to mix some US shows into their American channel to make it more palpable for US viewers, surely though they could have found something better than this?
IIRC, BBC America is based in New York and is very much an American network run by Americans. AMC owns about half of it. BBC Worldwide is the majority owner, but only by .01%. In a way, BBCA is kind of like AMC2, but with a license to show select BBC programs.
