Happy is when they're screwing the lid on top of your coffin. Anything before that that doesn't feel like a conspiracy to break all your toys is a momentary flirtation with less dissatisfaction.

A wise decision.
There was a time when I really disliked Seven Of Nine but even in those days, I wouldn't dream of coming up with a story in which she's so humiliated and destroyed as Kes was in "Fury".
As for the relaunch books, during the Christie Golden era they were readable but not as good as the season 1-3 Voyager books. But recently they seem to have taken a turn to the worse.

Well, some people might disagree with me but I think that there were annoyed over the "Bring back Kes" campaign and made that episode to show the finger to the Kes fans.
I need to ask you about this "Bring Back Kes Campaign".
TrekBBs is one of the biggest most popular boards on the net, yet nobody but you seems to know about this campaign and I've never seen you post any link to it here while it was going on. So where exactly was this campaign and why doesn't anybody else but you have any knowledge of it?

I prefer the 7 of 9 era of course, but at the same time I thought S7 was arguably the weakest Voyager season, while S1-3 had great episodes like "The Thaw", "Eye of the Needle", "Before and After", "Death Wish", and "Distant Origin".
I did enjoy the show more once 7 of 9 joined the crew. However, I wish they had kept Kes and gotten rid of Harry Kim (and the talentless Garrett Wang) instead.
