^^ Killraven would be good. I wish I'd thought of that.

I'm still the only voter for Golem, Manphibian, Man-Thing and Woodgod. :rommie:

Alan Davis's Killraven reboot from a few years ago seemed like a template for a film script, but I would prefer to see something more akin to Don McGregor's work. (As long as Killraven actually gets somewhere someday.)

Most of these are going simply by the premise and wether or not the backstory interests me since I haven't read many of the comics yet.

    Fantastic Four
    Hercules
    Captain Marvel

That Man-Thing movie was terrible. It didn't resemble the character or comic at all.

Yeah, I'd like to see it based on McGregor's work. I don't even remember if I read the reboot.

We will know that stuidos have begun to scrap the bottom of the barrel for comic book ideas when they get around to doing a Howard the Duck reboot.:rommie:

Hey, think we could get Disney and Warner Bros. to collaborate on an Ego vs. Mogo living planet crossover?

(And hopefully, they won't turn the planets into giant space clouds...)

You include obscure characters for a movie like: Demolition Man, Dragon's Claws, Ego the Living Planet, Free Spirit, Manphibian, NYX, Skeleton Crew, Woodgod, and the Zombie. But, fail to include Gladiator and/or the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, Beta Ray Bill, Ronan the Accuser?? :scream:

But especially you forget Quasar (Wendell Vaughn)? :censored:

    I'm calling shenanigans.

Despite these gross oversights, I voted anyway. :p

We should continue the versifying. "Fray" rhymes nicely with "Michael Bay." :D

    My votes as follows:
    Cloak & Dagger
    Living Mummy
    Man-Thing
    Moon Knight
    Werewolf by Night
    Zombie (Simon Garth)

Zombie seems like a film they could make for $30-40m as one of their modest budget films. That may be lower than modest actually. Horror is easy and zombies are hot to lukewarm at any time the past decade. The Walking Dead hasn't hurt bump up their prospects either.

Any of the more horror characters should be able to be done well and at a reasonable cost(in Holllywood terms). A Living Mummy film would be bold as that type character hasn't had a screen presence in decades. I can see where Werewolf by Night might get a few second or third glances due to something like Wolfmans reboot attempt a few years back. Living Mummy would not have that issue.

My Man-Thing bias is spoken for of course but I think a good film is lurking to be made with the character. Allow him to be partially telepathic again for the sake of giving the character a voice and greater interaction and go from there.

Moon Knight is the toughest sell thank to the Batman comparisons but it would be so cool!!

Don't judge the comic book on the basis of the terrible movie version. That would be like judging Batman on the basis of Adam West . . . or BATMAN & ROBIN.

The original comics by Steve Gerber were much better than the movie.

DOH, I just noticed my vote for Living Mummy didn't register.
Guess I didn't click fully in the box as I was scrolling through.
Mentally add one for Living Mummy.
